The Maroc Numeric 2013 aspires to an amplified and widely disseminated integration of IT at the level of all the actors of society: State, administrations, companies, and citizens to position Morocco among dynamic emerging countries in IT.
Budget: 5.2 billion DH (1.8 billion CAD)
The objectives of the strategy:
路 The creation of 26,000 additional jobs.
路 The achievement of an additional GDP of 27 billion DH.
路 1 in 3 households will have Internet access in 2013, compared to 1 in 10 households in 2008.
路 Equipping all public schools and engineering and related students in science and IT with Information Technologies.
路 Increase the number of operational e-government services from 16 to 89.
The Plan includes 18 initiatives broken down into 53 measures.聽It is structured around 4 strategic priorities, the success and implementation of which are conditioned by the implementation of 2 support measures and 2 so-called implementation measures.
The 4 strategic priorities:
路 Social transformation: making high-speed Internet accessible to citizens and promoting access to exchanges and knowledge.
路 The implementation of user-oriented public services: bringing the administration closer to user needs in terms of efficiency, quality and transparency, through an e-government program.
路 Encourage the computerization of Small and Medium-sized Enterprises to increase their productivity.
路 Development of the Information Technology industry: by supporting the creation and growth of local players as well as by promoting the emergence of centers of excellence with high export potential.
