In the European Union:

As 42% of European citizens do not have basic digital skills, The European Commission is determined to tackle the digital skills gap and promote projects and strategies to improve the level of digital skills in Europe. To meet its goal of ensuring 70% of adults have basic digital skills and to support stakeholders in improving the level of digital skills in Europe, the Commission offers a wide range of initiatives.

European Employment Services (EURES) and The European Digital Skills and Jobs Platform are two initiatives that are very similar to our platform and can act as evidence-based proof of efficacy.

EURES is a well-established EU job portal that has been providing information, advice, and recruitment services for the benefit of jobseekers and employers who want to work and hire abroad since 1994. In 2018 alone, a total of 293 169 jobseekers registered with EURES portal, out of which 84 500 found long-term work. In addition, all of the 15 countries surveyed reported a customer satisfaction rate of at least 8/10.

The platform hosts over 3 million jobs across the continent for users to easily access, as well as plenty of other features, including:

• Access to information on living and working conditions in the EU member states, such as taxation, pensions, health insurance and social security
• Specific support services for frontier workers and employers in cross-border regions
• Support to specific groups in the context of the EURES Targeted Mobility Schemes
• Support to dynamic recruitment events through the European (Online) Job Days platform
• Information on and access to post-recruitment assistance, such as language training and support with integration in the destination country
• Matching of job vacancies and CVs on the EURES portal

Similarly, our platform will offer users mobility and freedom to work despite other conditions. This online model demonstrates the importance and efficacy of on-demand information and international job-matching services, as well as personalized features and support.
